It has become a tradition in European cultures to pay-off warm wishes and greetings to the wedding couple by cheering them up with toasting flutes. Either cocktails or Champagne is served in the glasses and the music is played to invite all the guests on the board for dancing in couples or alone. The toasting flutes are a center of attention in the entire wedding party because people love having toasts of Champagne cheering up the newly-wed bride and groom. Depending on the custom of the wedding itself, few people are pre-assigned with the job to design or customize these important wedding items- glass or metal flutes. Satin ribbon bows are tied across the stems of flutes to enhance their appearance. Further, a monogram is stipulated or imprinted on the ribbon for a better presentation. The color of the ribbon is preferably matching the wedding theme or bride’s outfit (it depends how you have arranged the party and what the layout of theme is).
A member of the wedding party stands up with the toasting flute and cling it to grab the attentions of all guests. He pours in the wine into glass and cheers the couple and embraces it with best wishes. Other people join the party later and celebrate it by toasting their flutes with the couple one-by-one. In many parties, there is a band coverage which starts playing music and singing special lyrics as soon as any member of the wedding clings his toasting flute. To remind the couple and wedding there are an array of toast flutes being sold at craft store as well as one-dollar shop in very local street and market. There are special glass flutes that can further be decorated using home-made flowers, ribbons, tulle circles, and crafted ribbon displaying the date of marriage ceremony and names of the couple. Similarly, there are featured toast flutes made of metals such as gold and silver that are good options. Somehow such flutes often come with goblets, which means you have to get concerned about their cleaning prior to using them in the setting and presenting to the guests seated at reception. The metal flutes require polishing too. To stand out in the party, you might opt for a mix of gold and glass and adorn the stem using colorful ribbons. Or you can buy only glass flutes in the bulk and customize them as per your personal needs.
